What to Expect



Visiting a church can be like going on a blind-date--there's great potential, but there are also lots of unknowns. We hope the information below will minimize the unknowns for your first visit to Metro. So, here's what you need to know:

Parking


There's plenty of it, but it goes fast. We tell our regulars to park away from the building to leave spots in the front open for you.

Walking In


You'll be greeted warmly by some friendly people. These "greeters", as we call them, will hand you a bulletin and direct you to the main sanctuary.  If you have children, they will be glad to escort you to the children's facility.  If your child is shy, feel free to keep them with you in the adult service.

Our Services
Our services begin on time and usually last for 90 minutes. We have praise and worship for 20-30 minutes, followed by a time of prayer, and then a relevant message from Pastor Steve that you will immediately be able to apply in your everyday life.


For Kids (Nursery-5th Grade)


 Quality children's programs are offered at all services. Our Children's Ministry entrance is located to the left of our main entrance, although you can also access the facility at the rear of our main sanctuary.

When you drop your child off at their age appropriate class, you will be given a pager so that we may contact you if the need arises.  And because your kids' safety is of utmost concern to us, all workers are trained and cleared through a local and federal background check. 

For Teens (6th-12th Grade)

 Infuz Youth Ministry (Middle and High School) meets on Wednesday nights for their own time of dynamic worship and teaching.  In addition, Infuz Middle meets during the weekend services for a time of intimate discussion on the topics they face today.

 

For College-Aged People and Young Adults


 Relate meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm with Words with Friends and at weekly hang-outs Saturday after 6 pm service.

A Welcoming Reception Just for You


We offer all our first-time guests a free espresso drink from our Metro Cafe. In addition to getting a free cup of coffee, our staff is available to meet you after each service at a reception prepared just for you.
